“None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem. And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them.” Acts 5:13-15 ESV.
The fear of the Lord is the environment for miracles. And it caused many to turn to Christ. The Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 9:10. We live in a land that approaches the things of God with a causal attitude. We must be those who approach Him with confidence yet tremble at His word. May God restore the fear of the Lord to His people.
